Snow men and snow monsters

Ava helped create her first snow man this week. We took a short walk to the neighbors to see their Chistmas lights, which Ava LOVED. She loved them so much she wanted to go in his house. We then returned to our yard and Daddy showed Ava how to make a snow angel. I will have to post a picture of this, it was a priceless moment! We then made our snowman. Ava loved it, and talks about him everytime we go outside and insists on making another one. Too bad toddlers just don't understand their is packing snow and powder snow.
Ava loves the old movie Rudolph, and everytime we mention snow or she looks out the window, she yells "oh no! The Snow monster!" and sometimes it is accompanied by an ear shattering squeal. I am starting to get worried that she will really believe there is a huge snow monster that wants to get her, I try to reassure her :) In other news, Ava informed Randy that she has two daddy's, and the other one was beside him. Naturally, Randy was troubled by this and told me about it, and said "Ava, how many Daddy's do you have?" And she smiled, crossed her eyes, and said "I have two daddy's!" It was hillarious. Randy was not in front of her when she said that the first time and couldn't see that she had crossed her eyes.
This semester is almost finished, and I am counting down the days. I turned in the largest homework assignment I have ever completed today, and it felt great. One more week to go, then a nice little break. I can't wait to have normal sleeping hours for a few weeks.
That's all for now, take care and watch out for the snow monster.
